Usa, volo linea sbaglia aeroporto
Atterra in uno scalo militare segreto

Un aereo di linea della Northwest Airlines è atterrato nel Sud Dakota nell'aeroporto sbagliato. L'errore del pilota è stato, in linea d'aria, di poche centinaia di metri. La pista scelta però per lo scalo altra non era che una base militare. E per questo i passeggeri sono stati costretti a rimanere nel velivolo con i finestrini abbassati. Ci sono volute altre tre ore per far arrivare un nuovo equipaggio e ripartire verso l'aeroporto giusto.

Il volo 1152, partito da St.Paul (nel Minnesota), era atteso all'aeroporto di Rapid City (nel Sud Dakota) ma il pilota ha invece fatto atterrare l'aereo sulla pista della base militare di Ellsworth, che si trova a breve distanza.

I passeggeri hanno ricevuto l'ordine di abbassare le tendine dei finestrini dell'aereo e di non guardare fuori. L'errore è costato un ritardo di tre ore ai viaggiatori: tanto e' trascorso prima dell'arrivo di un nuovo equipaggio e del brevissimo volo (poche centinaia di metri) dalla pista militare a quella dell' aeroporto di Rapid City. Le autorita' dell'aviazione civile Usa (FAA) hanno ordinato una inchiesta sull'incidente.

Doveva essere la festa degli altri e così è stato. Pure troppo. I buoni propositi della Fortitudo, pur tra evidenti lacune ed un´inferiorità sempre latente, sono durati 25´. Poi solo caroselli Montepaschi, come tutta una città s´aspettava ed anche come di solito si risolvono le serie sul 2-0 e la vittima predestinata non ha voglia di farsi finire lentamente. Siena è un peso massimo, la Skipper adesso no, per mille motivi che però non intaccano l´ottima stagione: comunque il diretto del ko è stato durissimo. Il primo uppercut è arrivato in un raro momento felice, sull´avvicinamento del 43-48 a 6´25´´ dal termine del terzo quarto quando il crack alla coscia per Stefanov, fin lì la chiave della serie, poteva far pensare alla svolta. Ma così non è stato, anzi, in otto secondi s´è richiuso il portone: tripla di Galanda e rubata di Andersen per il cesto di Thornton. Di nuovo targa lontana, 43-53, ma non ancora sparita. Ultimo contatto, 50-55 a 14´ dal termine, dopo un bel cesto di Carlos, la speranza di poter ancora intimorire o almeno dare fastidio. Ma dopo è stato il tracollo di fronte alle spallate del trio Andersen-Vanterpool-Thornotn....
